89 Runner no go

So here's a fun story.

I was making a right hand turn in first gear when there was an audible 'Plink' and suddenly Ol' Blue would not go. I could nearly shift into all gears without the use of the clutch with minimal to no grinding and not even a hint of potential motion. Clutch feels the same. So who's got a prognosis? Who wants to tell me it's some simple linkage and I don't have to replace the whole transmission?

Have you crawled under it and looked yet? I can't think of how the pressure plate could be pushed in and stuck. If you're lucky, maybe it's just the springs on the pressure plate broke and a new clutch kit is all you need.

I tried the T-case, and it wouldn't go in 4 Hi or Low either. My first reaction was that it had kicked itself out of 1st gear so I made sure all gears were engaged, but I will look to see that it isn't something related
