I wanted to tail someone let's say Friday. Then if more green leaders were needed for Saturday I had a better idea of the park. I've only been to the park once and did blue/blacks with the 1st gen.

I was seeing 132 trucks and only 3 green leaders.... a disaster of endless waiting.... waiting to happen since most will be doing greens.

When's a better day for wheeling, Friday or Saturday? I might only do one day since i'll be getting there Friday morning at 9 to sign into twin grove. Don't want to wheel with all my stuff in the 4runner.

Saturday is the "Main Event" [MENTION=48266]CAN-03runner[/MENTION] I screwed up my ankle so greens for both days for me lol, so tail on Friday then. Download maplets and add Raush Creek map it'll be easier to navigate

What trail levels will you be running. Unless you are towing a camp trailer having stuff in the back should be ok especially if you do greens. I usually have some tools, and spare parts, spare tire in the back.

In the email from the FJNE 8 am is meet at Rausch Creek to register with the park and roll out is at 10am. So think about that.

Otherwise, Saturday is the big busy day everyone wheels and the raffle at end of day. Sunday is also a potential low key wheeling day

Yeah I'll do that. This way if more green leaders are needed for Saturday I'm not going in blind.

I've been trying to get maplets on my phone but it's not working right, crashing, not loading. I think too much stuff on that phone. And I don't want to load it on my work phone.

It's my excuse to get a nice new shinny tablet....:eyebrows:

I'll probably be doing mostly blues but also some greens. We'll see how it goes. Thats one of the reasons i wanted to go down early so we can get a couple solid days of wheeling in Thursday and Friday because I know Saturday can get a bit crazy with the big groups, then play it be ear for Sunday? I'll trail lead they need me to. This will be my 3rd time down and after being there for two more days I should have a pretty good run of the place.

Shit that reminds me that's one more thing I didn't get done, my lower link skids! Dammit. Oh well that because I haven't installed my Offset links yet. All good no worries I'm still good to go!
Give us a shout when you guys get down. I think we're over I. T16-T17.

Word, i think I might be able to make the friday run depending how long it takes to gain access to my camp site. But i shouldn't have much in the back, just didn't want everything swinging around. If i can make it before 9.30 to Rausch then ill do some greens that day and go harder on Saturday. I'll have to play by ear. Can't wait to see some of the rides that are going!!

In the frantic packing I hope to remember to bring the SWR. Otherwise, I think my buddy I drive down with always has his in his truck.

Plus guaranteed out of 130 drivers someone will have an SWR tuner.

Man your gonna be surprised at how well the 4th gen does off road! You'll be able to do blues now prob! I've wheeled with solid axle 1st gens 70 series on 35s and 37s fully locked and been able hang, and i'm still rocking open diffs! Of course theres only so hard you can push and wheel a ifs before you start breaking shit but these rigs kick ass!

That's exactly the set up i plan to run in the future, get a older 1st gen or taco with a solid axle for more serious harder wheeling and keep the 4th gen for expo/ lighter wheeling:thumb3:
