93 3vze v6 injector question

Replaced the head gaskets.

While putting everything back together, the plastic tip of one of the injectors got cracked and broke a tiny piece off.

Do I need to replace the injector or can I just make sure there are no more loose pieces that can come off and use the injector anyway?

That tip helps seal the injector from dripping, and seals out air from the outside. I would say that you need to replace it.

The broken part is at the very tip, well below the seal that goes into the injector cup, (or what ever the plastic cup shape thing is called that goes into the intake manifold), so no air can get in from outside.

In looking closer at some of the other injector tips, I noticed a few of them have small cracks in the same spot, right at the tip of the injector. Looks like the plastic tips are just getting worn from the heat over time.

Can just the plastic part on the tips be replaced? I really don't want to have to buy all new injectors.
