'95 4runner power door lock

The drivers door lock switch in my '95 4runner sr5 doesn't work, it will sometimes lock all doors but then it won't unlock them. The remote works fine and the passenger's side switch works fine. Tried replacing the main switch but that wasn't the problem, mechanic says there's another switch that indicates wether the door is locked or unlocked and that one is the problem. It also seems he can't find that switch anywhere. Does anyone have information on a fix or where to find one?

Doesn't show the locations but see if this provides any help…

I also have a '95 with similar issues. The rear door power locks act like the actuators are fried… you can hear them clicking and see them slightly move but not enough torque to completely push/pull the lock levers. I'll probably start by replacing one of the lock actuators.
EDIT: not anytime soon though… just looked them up, $97 a piece!! Guess those can wait a while, HA!

Found the problem. A couple of the wires from the door had frayed and were shorting out. Replaced the wires and all works well.
