Hi I'm looking for some guidance in replacing the bearings in my front diff

Differential work requires some pretty specialized tooling. Are you set up with the proper measuring devices? If not, I would seriously recommend having it done by a competent shop. Differentials are one of the things I wouldn't do as a garage mechanic, simply because doing it right requires to much of an investment in tools.

I have dial indicators and micrometers.What type of specialized tooling would be required for project?

A torque wrench that can measure in inch-pounds is very important and a press for the bearings

I have a torque wrench and access to a press.I'm a licensed diesel mechanic with a full set of hand tools and access to shop tools at my place of employment.
