How did you decide where to poke holes. I have 4th gen snorkels in stock (parado) but no template, and I do not have the intestinal fortitude to cut a hole in my fender.

If it makes you feel better, replacement fenders are 35 dollars on rock auto. Making me consider this...

You sir, are awesome! Where did you buy the snorkel from and do you have a part number? I just put the cbi ditch light brackets on and I wonder it they would still fit?

Lining up the template was a combination of eyeing up and carefull , repeated checking of positioning. I cut the main hole, inserted the through the fender part of the sbork and then heated it and bent the upright slightly. I put the studs on it and marked where they needed to go. I was very carefull and it took me about an hour to actually position it all . I drilled the stud holes larger than i needed so i would have a little bit of play to work with.

Sry to bump an old thread but wondering if anyone else has done this yet?

Also what part did you use (make/model?)

TIA

Everything has been plumbed up for a while now and is working great. Im happy with this cheap chinese snorkel. I got it on Amazon and will get you guys the part number. I havent checked in here for a little while and i apologize. Please note this installation is not easy nd you need to be committed and capable to make it work !
