97 4runner front suspension questions

I bought a 97 t4r already with a suspension and body lift installed. The suspension seems to be all blocks. In the front they have lowered the front cross member / front axel housing carrier what seems to be 4". I called toytec today and was informed that their coilovers would not work unless I ran them at the stock ride height and would still have to use blocks. My question is, are there any other coilover options I could run without having to use blocks to
Compensate(or minimal maybe 1")? Or am I better off finding an original front cross member and going from there? The truck is used as a daily driver but will be used to access climbing crags on the weekends.

You're most likely going to have to run spacers on any coilover. You should still get the performance out of the coilover but you will be limited to what you can do with that drop bracket lift.

Do you think I could run the toytec coilover up to 3" and then run a 1" spacer? I'm sorry what is a drop bracket lift?

The drop bracket lift is what you described, the thing that lowers the front diff, steering rack, lower control arms, and cv axles. You would need to get measurements after you put the coilovers in, just make sure you by spacers that go on top of the mounting plate and not underneath. Post a pic of the front if you can.
