FJ TRD Pro Suspension - Spring Replacement 4Runner

I posted this in the long thread where so many of us old timers bought the FJ Cruiser TRD Suspension kit for our 5th gens like 8-9 years ago when it went on clearance. That said, Im getting weird 'cannot access' notes now that I made that reply.

Unfortunately, the FJ front coils shit the bed on me and my passenger side one cracked near the top. Im hesitant to pull the trigger on a replacement red TRD FJ spring given the failure but am also unsure what the best replacement is that would net out the same front lift. Anyone have any recommendations?

I really dont want to replace the entire suspension. Any held/guidance would be appreciated.

It would be the time to upgrade to a new front suspension. Already removing the springs , might as well replace the shocks at the same time. I picked up the same set up during the clearance sale. I already replace the rear 5160s (leaking) with 5100s same shock just no reservoir.

Would check out the following; penidng how long you want to keep the 4runner.

I'm a huge fan of accutune suspension. Totally depends on your budget, but coil springs really aren't that expensive. It's the shocks that are pricey. They have some fox ones at a reasonable price.

Personally, I'd replace the spring and call it a day until the shock fails, then call them up and have something custom tuned to your rig.

Also, coil failures are a bit rare. Is your FJ really overloaded or had a lot of weight added over stock? I don't know what your budget is, but it might be worth calling accutune to get something tuned to your specific setup. The factory stuff doesn't play that well with added weight.

To clarify, Im on a 2016 4R Trail Premium (TRD Off-Road). The suspension setup a bunch of us bought was the FJ Cruiser TRD Pro Bilstein 6112/5160 (non-adjustable). The challenge that I am faced with is figuring out which spring, for a 4Runner, will be equitable in height to the one that came with the TRD FJ kit as the spring perch on the FJ shocks sits 1.0" lower than the same kit on the TRD 4R shocks. I could just buy the replacement spring but Im admittedly gunshy doing that given it cracked on me.
