97 4Runner Grille Paint Idea

I've been thinking about different ideas for painting my 4Runner and this one seems to be my favorite. I'm not super familiar with Photoshop so I used paint which doesn't look the best but gets the job done. Let me know what you guys think.

You should continue the stripe down the entire truck and make it two stripes instead of one. Old school racing stripes. Still love those things.

It's your truck, do whatever you like. I'd expect some votes of NO though. I didn't like it when Audi started doing it, and I still don't.

I think the first one is a cool idea and would look kinda neat if you did it right. Just do a quality job on it.

I'd probably rather spend the money and have an actual body shop do it. If I do it I'd like to repaint the whole vehicle just so everything matches 100% and plus I like metallic paint. So I'd do the same white just with metallic flecks and metallic black as well.

Sounds like a good idea if you can afford a professional paint job. Too many members throw plasti dip and crummy home brewed paint jobs on their trucks and ruin them. I don't know that Ive ever seen white with metallic flakes in it. Sounds like it might look cool

Yeah right now I definitely do not have the money for it. This will probably be years down the road. My brother is learning how to paint professionally though so maybe once he get's good we'll do it. I know a good paint job could be $2000. One of my concerns with paint jobs is this though: I wonder if they take all the parts off that they can so that it can be sanded down inside grooves and different places. I wouldn't want rust coming through ruining the new paint after 5-10 years. I plan on keeping this truck since I just put a JDM engine in it. It's at 280,000 miles now but I know I can keep it going. By the way, the pictures are not of my 4Runner. I just pulled those off of Google. I wouldn't be too surprised if the guys who own them were members on here.

They sell white plasti-dip online. Might as well give it a shot to see what it would look like.

Yeah I'm thinking I'd do this first. What I'm wondering is if I can mix the natural white into the plastidip. That's the color of white my 4Runner is.
