97 4runner vs. 99 4runner

Can i put the stock cd player in the 99 into the 97. I know that 97 use to have a 3disc player and an amp in it, just not sure.:guitar3::guitar3::guitar3:

yep all the plugs should be the same just make sure u get the amp with it

You want to be a little careful as the '99's had four stock sound systems and only three played CD's and I believe only two had separate amps. My SR5 just had a AM/FM/cassette and no separate amp--which was fine because a new Alpine was in her before the ODO hit 10 miles.
