97 4runner

First of all I'm a first time owner of a 4runner. New to this forum but everyone has been a great help thus far. What is this? Lol and would this cause the vibration that I'm feeling in the gas pedal? I was gonna replace the u joints and drive shaft but this looks sketchy.

Thats a broken sway bar end link. No biggie. Once you replace you'll notice a lot more stability around corners. Doesn't have anything to do with vibrations. Good luck with the rust once ya start wrenchin!

Go ahead and replace both sides (the other side will probably snap once you fix the one). You'll notice better on road handling.

Another thing I was reading I could take the front drove shaft out and lock the CDL and drive to see if it makes the vibration noise still. Would that mean leave in 2wd or 4h?
