I have a 98 4runner SR5 4x4. It runs great and its in perfect condition. I keep up with the Maintance and repairs myself. The only issue I cant work out of it is at low RPM (Under 900)/Idle it has a very descrete skip. Its alomst like a misfire but not like its a dead miss. I have replaced Plugs and Wires, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Did a Fuel system/Intake service with my BG poducts machine. Also hooked up my Snap-on Solar Diagnostics Scanner because I usualy can hook it up and watch each cylinder for misfire but it wont let me watch it for some reason. Anyone Have any other suggestions?

This might sound kinda dumb sense you did things that were more advance, but I had the same issue in my 97 and I put some additives in two tanks of gas and that fixed the issue. Had this problem in early May this year and still no problems.

No suggestion is dumb to me as long as simeone is trying to help me. But when I do my fuel system services you put a additive in the take as well. So I'm out of ideas

check for vacuum line leaks, if one is leaking after the MAF it will cuz the truck to run lean thus mis firing.
