I have a 98 2wd limited @ 190,000miles with the original suspension. My wife is going to be driving the truck a fair amount now and I want to replace what I need to in order to get the vehicle driving like stock or better. In other words, my objective is to get the trucking riding smooth and handling well on the road. I rarely take this rig off road and therefore I am willing to sacrifice off road ability for good on road riding. I do tow a 3500 lb boat short distances a few times a year (less than 10 times). But other than that, its all normal road/highway driving. If I can do something simple to eliminate some of the rear sag, that would be great too, but not my main objective.
I am not looking for anything crazy high end, but I'm not going to nickel and dime myself over $100 if there is a great alternative thats only a little more money.
I've read good reviews on the Monroe Sensa-tracs. Anyone else have an opinion on these or any other suggestions? If you can reccommend a good source, that would be great too. Thanks in advance!
