99 potential buy

Hello everyone,
new to forum as I'm looking at buying a 3rd gen 4runner. I have my eye on a '99 model that is truly in great shape. It has 131k miles, v6, auto SR5 package. It comes with a warranty (3k mile or 3month) It is Car Fax cert. with new tires and no rust. The toyota dealership wants 9895 for it. Not sure if this is a good deal or not. Thoughts, what other questions should I be asking the dealership besides the normal used car quesitons.

Ask about maintenance, maintenance and maintenance. It's priced a bit high IMO opinion even if the maintenance is all up to date. But if TB/WP, driveline fuids, etc are all up to date, I'd say $9000 ish is about right from a dealer.

It sounds like a nice truck, pictures or the ad would be helpful too. You're definitely paying dealer price for the truck - I bought my '01 with about the same specs for $8k 2 years ago in Oregon from a private seller. If you have the patience and the time, I'd suggest finding a private seller over a dealer (assuming you want the best price).
