Nothing too exciting, but do plan to do some beach driving this week. We drove down into the teeth of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hannah, and 50-60mph crosswinds during torrential downpours on the highway for 4 hours is always fun, especially with the cargo box on top. That said, the 4R did just fine.
Once on the outer banks there was a 2.5-mile long flooded area (mostly about 2' deep) where the park police would only let SUVs go through. Wish I got some pics of the deeper areas but I was more interested in not ending up off the shoulder where it was like 4' deep...
It got deep enough that at 15mph or so, in some areas I was getting heavy water spray over the windshield and roof thanks to the 50mph wind gusts. One large F250 with a lift and 36s was going along the shoulder and had his tires completely submerged, but my wife was fiddling with the camera at the time, dammit!

2.5 miles in a water caravan of SUVs...
this was the local rescue squad's "recovery vehicle" for anyone who got "in too deep"
Also first trip with the new Scion rado and iPod adaptor. A major improvement over the crap stock base stereo
