A good mechanic in Seattle to checkout a 4Runner?

I am thinking of buying a 3rd gen 4Runner limited. Once I find a vehicle I will need a mechanic that has a lot experience on 4Runners to check it out for me. I live in Seattle. Does anyone know of a good place to bring a 4Runner in to be thoroughly inspected and checked out? Thanks.

The dealership will normally do it for 100 dollars...yea its steep...but...its better than nothing.

Hey gsdguy I live in Seattle and bought a '99 Limited 2 months ago that now needs shocks (very rough driving..getting wheels "Road Force Balanced" tomorrow which might help a little).

Did you ever find a good t4r mechanic around?

I wish I had a garage and a compressor to do it myself but simply dont.

I would love to find a good 4Runner friendly mechanic in Seattle to take my project to. Im sure there is some other stuff he can help with too.

Hey Sam,

If all you need is a suspension swap, then I would hit up the some local member and do a mod day. If that's a no go, I would recommend John over at Auburn Car Repair and offroad.
