A little late! Who’s down! For Local Nor Cal T4R members

I know it’s pretty last minute, but I was wondering if any members wanted to head out to either Mormon emigrant Trail or Bowman Lake this Sunday 03/25/18? My wife and I are asking a few friends and family to join us and I figured why not extend the invitation to other T4R members! I would love to meet up and do a little snow run. Get to talk about rigs and what not too! Anyways comment here or PM me? I’ll try to figure out how that works. Feel free to let other people know not opposed to jeepers or other Toyota’s joining as well!

Hi, don't mean to hijack the thread but next week, I will be driving from Colorado to Walnut Creek on Friday morning. Will stop overnight in Zion and head to Death Valley. Stay overnight in Lone Pine then head to Walnut Creek via Bishop.
GPS taking me via rt-50. Is it worth/possible take 88 hop on Mormon trail towards rt-50?

Any ideas/suggestions? I have never been to CA other than L.A. before.

Hi, don't mean to hijack the thread but next week, I will be driving from Colorado to Walnut Creek on Friday morning. Will stop overnight in Zion and head to Death Valley. Stay overnight in Lone Pine then head to Walnut Creek via Bishop.

Although I would highly recommend taking MET because of the scenery. I don’t think the trail is going to be open. There is a gate at the end of MET where it meets 88 and they close it for the winter. I was up 2-3 weeks ago and the trail is snowed in hard. From the 50 side you can only go up around 15-20 miles MAYBE and even then it was a winchfest. Me and a few buddies were up and every 1000 ft someone was stuck. 88 should be open all the way up but even with it open it still may get pretty hairy. I tend to stay away from that road during the snow lol for some reason it gives me goosebumps while driving on ice. What business do you have in Walnut Creek if you don’t mind me asking?

Me and my GF work remotely, so we get to travel while still keeping our full time jobs. We started in January, drove from Philly to Aspen. Stayed three weeks there (no we don't ski ). Now stayed in Westcliffe for 6 weeks. Next is Walnut Creek for 3 months. Thinking of getting rid of our apartment in Philly and doing this for a couple of years.

What area do you live in?
