A new 4 runner!!

I have had my 4 runner for about 2 years now but now it feels like it's brand new! My wife got in a wreck and caved in the front end about a month ago. Instead of having the shop do the OEM repairs I took the check from the ins. company and did my own repairs...

ARB front bumper
Cornfed 3/2 lift
Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers
275/75/17 all terrain wheels

Even after all that was done I still have ~$3000 left... I'm thinking about a KC Hilite kit, winch and a custom rear bumper along with some rock sliders.

A winch is going to be installed soon... Time is very limtied for me to do everything to the 4runner. We just closed on a house when my wife got into the accident so the house alone has kept us busy enough. But a winch is going to be installed on the bumper along with some long range driving lights.

Awesome, I got an ARB on my Land Cruiser after hitting a deer (my fifth), probably will be the same with my new old 4R.

I think if I were you I would go for (in this order)

-Sliders
-OME Suspension
-Winch
-Lights

How does the factory suspension/spacers handle the bumper, by the way?

It's not really an issue at all! The only thing is that I cut the original inner fender down and stuffed them inside the bumper so it looks good still. On the passenger side I cut it a little too short and it fell out of the bumper. The tire rubbed on it quite a bit and wore it down. Now it's too short to stuff in the bumper and I'll have to figure something out to either replace it or extend it and put it back in the bumper.

However, with the added weight you can definitely feel it on the gas pedal during acceleration. There is a little bit more front end nose dive during braking but that may be a little bit due to the lift as well.

haha... I almost crunched up the front end today. Someone ran a red light while I was turning left and he just about hit me! If it weren't for me swerving right and slamming onto my brakes he would have been stuck underneath me. He was in some little honda or something.

If anyone goes to Clarksville, TN Beware... no one here can drive!!! My poor 4 Runner made a 2500 mile drive from Washington state to Tennessee with no problems and took great care of me everywhere I drove. The 4runner has been a champ and by far the best vehicle I have ever had! Since its been in Tennessee it has been hit twice. One was a hit and run in a walmart parking lot and the other my wife was driving and some lady cut her off. :happens:

oh i almost forgot...if anyone comes to greenville sc no girls here can drive hahah.....today i was in merging with my blinker on into the median to turn into taco bell and a girl in a wrangler coming in th opposit direction decided that she wanted to get into the median 150 yds before she got the place she wanted to turn almost smashing head first into me... i was completely stopped so i couldnt do anything... luckily she got back into her lane....then she had the nerve to try to cuss me out like i did something wrong.....that would have completely been her fault because i was completely stopped and she was getting into the median way tooo early so my wish almost came true before it happened except it would haver hurt cuase she was going like 35 and i was dead stopped so airbags would have definitly deployed
