A note on exhausts

Just a heads up, and pics later. Our stock exhausts seem prone to failure at the exhaust outlet. Mine started leaking a week ago* but didn't break off til yesterday.

Almost no change in exhaust note, I only heard a little clunking which I thought was the drive shaft needing a relube.

*Guys I had been feeling ill for a few days prior to noticing the exhaust tip touching the rear fascia.

For those in the rust belt, please check your mufflers for rot.

CO poisoning is really bad news.

had the pipe rust/break off where it enters the rear of the muffler on my 08, didnt notice a louder sound but saw the tail pipe a little crooked. the rest of teh muffler was solid, so i went to a good local muffler shop & just had them weld a small 2" section onto the muffler & then weld the tail pipe to it. it was the pipe of the tail pipe that rusted out, not the muffler. easy fix for $60 that should last for many more years.
