I know of a few folks that weld, quotes were $150+. At least from what I've seen, it's not that big of a job.

My friend said he could do it for a $100.
It's not that big of a job but it is a little time consuming. You have to first measure which can take some finessing. Then, grind down the paint on the frame rails, weld on the plates to the frame and lastly weld all the legs to the plates.

If you get the Stubbs they only require welding to the frame and come with the scab plates and legs welded on.
But my guy still charged $150 and took a couple of hours.

That's true.. I guess it just depends who you buy from. Some companies will already weld the end plates onto the legs. Jerry (BAMF) does I'm sure but since I requested different frame mounting plates, they weren't. So that required an extra step.

Still debating sliders, probably not gonna happen this year though. I did find a deal I couldn't pass up on a Rola roof rack, so I got it with the extension and got it put on. Was getting dark but got some pics.

Got my Hanma LED bars installed today. 30" double row on the roof, 2 6" single rows on the rear. Huge thanks to gaterose for putting together the order and answering questions along the way. He's putting together another buy if anyone's interested, see this thread for details. The mounts for the 30" bar are only temporary, ran out of time and had to come up with something quick. Will try to get some night shots soon.

Unbelievable what those little things are capable of. I got my mounts put on for the 30" bar, going to try to at least hit some dirt roads one night this weekend to see how much it shakes. The Rola isn't very solid and I'm afraid it'll shake too much (it shook quite a bit but am hoping the new mounts would help). I may end up moving it around, not sure yet. My reverse lights are a spot pattern (all that was available when we ordered), I'm going to replace them with floods and try to find a use for the spots. I don't expect any other mods in the near future, wife and I are planning to move and possibly buy a house so mods will be low on the priority list for a while.

Yea, I'll still be in central Arkansas (Conway or the surrounding area). Not a major move, but gonna cost quite a bit to get out of our current rental.
