ABS light and alarm on-no brakes

My 01 4runner has the ABS light, brake light and alarm going off - no brakes at the pedal and the ABS pump isn't coming on when you turn the key switch on. Other than buying a whole setup is there any other options that you or anyone else has found???

By "alarm", are you talking about the traction control related piezo beep/ring?
It feels like you have no brakes, because there is no assist with the ABS/TRAC/VSC ECU not working properly.
I've heard of the ABS/master/booster pump/etc assembly in the engine bay going tits up, but your issue sounds to be ECU related.
The ECU is under the dash, where your clutch pedal should be. I would pull each connector out, and re-plug them in- just to make sure they're all seated 100% in their home.
Also, check your ABS/TRAC/VSC related fuses.
Have you done any wiring on your vehicle at all? Any aftermarket lights, alarm, stereo, etc installed?

Any current or pending CEL codes? If you don't have a reader handy go to an autozone or other auto parts store, they usually read codes for free.

No brakes as in pedal goes to the floor and no stopping?

I never hear the abs pump go on my 01 yet the brakes and abs work (just got tested a couple days ago in rainy stop/go traffic).

Last week each time my wife would start the vehicle the ABS light and high pitch alarm would sound and she would turn it back off and restart and all would be fine, then Friday as she was driving it they both came back on and she had no brakes and had to use the e-brake to stop on side of road. When I got there I would try to pump the brake pedal but it is almost on floor, hard pedal, and when I turn the key on the ABS pump is not kicking in to bring the pedal back up - have had to do the 25+ pedal pumps before to bleed brakes and ABS system then turn key on and you can here the ABS pump kick in twice to build pedal back, but now it is not kicking in and building pedal back up. It is an automatic trans and have not installed anything new either electrical or mechanical.
