AC condenser replacement??

I did it, replaced mine too after poking a hole in it. Just take a look at the toyota FSM, it's really easy.
It was really just a simple unscrew, take out old condenser, put in new condenser, and and rescrew back in.
I did replace the drier with a aftermarket one though as some people recommended that.
I did not replace any O-rings and I recharged the AC myself using one of those a vacuum pump with one of those manifold gauges.
Oh, and I would say I did this roughly 5 - 7 months ago and my AC works wonderfully.

It's super easy, pull the grill, 2 lines and the mounting bolts.

Well. You're not the only one. Got a Denso one from Partsgeek.com. But mine came with dryer and o-rings for a little more.
Word of advice.
1). Go with OEM Condenser
2). Absolutely replace the drier (this is essentially the filter).
2). Get your system recharged by a shop that knows AC. (this should only run you about $100-140).
The AC system is one of the more complicated parts of the vehicle. The system has a very specific freon volume spec and a very specific quantity of oil that needs to be in the system. The only way to correctly charge a system is with an AC machine that puts the correct amount of volume in the system according to OE capacity. Guages don't truly work, since AC systems run different pressures (and therefore) different densities at various stages of the loop.
An undercharged system will still run and will push out cold air, but will run the compressor hot, which will shorten the lifespan of your AC system.

Since Denso makes the OEM, wouldn't it make sense to buy the Denso brand for less than half the cost? Or is there a difference in the two?
Aftermarket Denso will do the trick.
Same part, same process, just moved down the street (or country) to comply with original supplier rules.
