AC electrical wiring for 1997 4Runner?

Greetings,
I recently replaced the engine on my 4Runner: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/280800-defer-engine-replacement-1997-manual-4runner.html

After I got the truck back I noticed that the A/C fan works, but the A/C clutch does not engage when the A/C button is pushed(the A/C light does come on). I was able to apply 12V to the A/C clutch and heard it engage, so it appears to be an electrical issue.

But I cannot easily test the electrical connection from the fuse box: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/general-discussions/219321-why-not-use-paperclip-place-fuse.html

So I'd like to ask: Besides the electrical connection on the A/C clutch itself, is there an A/C electrical connection which my mechanic might have disconnected but forgotten to re-connect? Any other ideas to troubleshoot this apparent electrical A/C problem?

There is a low pressure switch that will prevent the clutch from engaging if the charge is low.

If your mechanic can’t figure it out, it’s time to find anther garage.

Thanks- I have an A/C refill can, I'll try that first.

I'm sure my mechanic would be able to figure it out, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to stop in.

Be careful with refilling your ac system. As you get too much refrigerant in the system your damage and burn your pump up

That was it, the refrigerant was low!
