AC Major Problem...

My Drivers side is blowing hot air while the passengers side/rear are blowing ice cold. I've looked at a number of threads and it seems as though their is no consensus as to what the fix is.

1. Relay ???
2. Servo ???
3. Freon ???

I WAS changing the HVAC bulbs to leds and had part of the dash apart this week FWIW. Could I have knocked something loose? Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an easy way to troubleshoot. Any suggestions are welcome as I'm far from an mechanic or electrician. I don't want to start buying freon and/or a relay if its probably a couple hundred dollar servo to begin with...

Oh yeah I have no warning lights on nor do I hear any clicking/cd changing esque sounds...

TIA

had same problem...topping up refrigrant resolved the problem..check my posts in early march or so.
check the sight glass with the engine on and a/c on full blast to confirm if ur refrig5rant is low

I posted on the OP this week as well. Best case scenario is topping of freon. Worst case is replacing the air box for about $2000 in parts and labor. I'd start with the freon…
Here's the OP: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/65858-c-hot-drivers-side.html

Yeah thats what I saw last night and almost *#)T a brick. I topped off the freon today and the drivers side is blowing colder than the day I got it. Fingers crossed it stays like that...

Thanks again for the help ^^
