Adapting factory rack crossbars to another vehicle

I'm in love with my 3rd gen's rubberized crossbars and they're perfect for my kayak. Although it's time to scrap the truck due to the infamous frame rust issue, I was hoping to take the bars with me.

I was wondering if the factory bars followed any universal rail system? I'd love to mount them on my next vehicle if possible.

If your next vehicle was a Toyota, then they might fit. My 2003 Sienna had the same style rack, but I think the Sienna was wider than the 4Runner, so I it's doubtful it would be a direct swap without some mods.
