ADD servicing

I was checking the front diff fluid and noticed the ADD hardware hanging off the front diff. Is this something that needs servicing? I saw the vacuum lines and my heart kinda sank because this trucks 25 years old and I've been finding all kinds of neglect as I go through it. I searched for a manual conversion but didn't find much. I would like to simplify any systems I can. Honestly I would rather not have it at all but I guess that's no possible.

ive never had ADD issue other than breaking stub shafts, and ADD is super easy to fix. theres not a lot that goes on with them once you tear a front diff apart.

ive done manual hub conversions in the past from a 1G tacoma

What do you mean hanging? A vacuum line? The switch wiring? The entire ADD actuator? If you can post a picture that would be helpful.

You can swap to manual hubs/axles from a 1st gen tacoma, but that's more work and money than fixing the ADD system in my opinion.

May be the one plug came loose. There is one plug and two hard lines that transition to rubber.
