Does anyone do this for 4th Gens?

I think someone already asked but no answer...

I think it was [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] that does this for the 4th gens, I saw a thread recently in the 4th gen forum about this and I could've sworn it was him that was offering this service.

Yep I do this for people, you can PM me for more details.

I don't do it, the 4th gen process involves a bit of bondo and possibly fiberglass work from what I've read.

It does involve some fiberglass and a decent bit of bondo so it isn't as cheap (labor-wise) as the 5th gen grille. It can be done without the fiberglass and bondo (a la mytoy4's grille) but I assume most people don't like that style is much since no one has let me build one that way yet.

Negative, the grillcraft mesh is a lot smaller than what I use. I get sheets of this mesh and have to cut it out. The mesh I use now is the same as the pictures posted.

Does this mesh come black or do you rattle can it black. i actually haven't gone looking yet but when I do I don't want to keep looking if your are just rattle canned.

I get mine in large quantities from a private vendor. I then have to cut it down to fit the grille.

Which model of Toyota emblem are you using? I'm doing this on my 3rd gen, and it seems like there are all kinds of different sized emblems out there. I want to get one that's on the larger side.

Here is what most of us are using: Toyota Part Number 75311-90K00. It is about 3" x 14" and it is off of a 60 series Land Cruiser.

Well, that one looks pretty good. I ended up pulling the trigger on one already...

Your best bet is to wait til the TRD PRO's come out and get the grille insert piece if it is ever available.
