These look pretty damn nice. Any info on the spring rate and un-sprung coil length used for the 4th gen T4R coilover? I am scouring their page and the net and haven't landed on it yet. Also, the part number doesn't match their chart for shock lengths, does anyone know what base 'CO' is used for the 250-T4F23-000?

Thanks Ramon, but I emailed them last week prior to posting in this thread. I doubled up to see if you had the additional info on hand so that I could get the info sooner. I haven't heard back from ADS yet, but I will post their answers here when I do.

Response to my questions about the coilovers:


The springs used for all of the 4Runner coilovers are a 14” 650lb spring. They make essentially one travel. They have developed the shock to be a complete bolt on unit that doesn’t require additional parts for fitment. In some cases people do ask for an extended travel coilover to be built, which requires aftermarket upper control arms, but depending on model this can be accommodated in the manufacturing process and cannot in other cases. I have had customers in areas like yours use a variety of different suspension components and they have been happy with how the ADS coilovers hold up in the heavy salts. They use a ID Dom tubing which is coated in a way to help prevent rusting. Anything can corrode over time though but with proper maintenance it can help all of the components to ware better.

Update/Edit: Additional info:

The extended is 22.16 and collapsed is 17.750. They can take the internal spacer out which would offer around ½” more travel. Generally doing so will require upper control arms.
