Doug helped the last 8 minutes of the install.... he's 6' 2" so came in handy for lifting it onto the truck. He's not allowed to help me with projects because....

1. He doesn't read directions
2. He thinks advice from a forum in general is dumb (ask me about the TRD airbox install)
3. He doesn't read directions
4. He doesn't cooperate
5. He doesn't read directions
6. We usually have an argument and I kick him out of the garage
7. He doesn't read directions

So I call my friends... and make new ones that like doing projects lol. Seriously... I met Tyler for the first time on Sat when he showed up to help. His help was invaluable since he's already done it.

I'm currently trying to convince John to build me a bumper (since SSO isn't making them anymore). He said if I buy him a plasma cutter he's on board....

I'm trying to figure out what Corey is going to do with dual batteries, I am assuming a winch is coming after this project!

I did some heavy pinstriping early on, and it was the best thing I could have done. No more hesitation on the trailheads. I love the scratches around the SR5 badge

Do/did you use a Ram mount for your GoPro in the back? I am so nervous to trust something on the outside of the vehicle. I leash mine too though just in case it gets too bumpy.

Nope. I used the giant suction cup I found on Amazon.

I'm trying to figure out what Corey is going to do with dual batteries, I am assuming a winch is coming after this project!

So my engineer friend is going to help me with the electronics.... Jeff has however graciously offered to build my rear storage box. I feel terrible asking him to "help" me... but I know it keeps him out of trouble, and from drilling more holes into his console!

For the dual battery, my goal is to restrict accessories to the aux batt. I have a dash cam already, as well as my cb wired into the existing battery. I still have lights and a compressor sitting in my garage that need power. Is a winch on the short list? Maybe. A fridge, definitely.
