After Market Fog Lights

I ordered a pair of aftermarket OE fog lights from Amazon, $160. Now l’m reading the reviews and it appears they often leak. Anybody else have experience with the Autolightsbulbs brand lights?

Why do people buy first and read reviews after?

There are so many options out there, dont settle for a set that leaks

Yes I should have read more of the reviews. What’s a better option?

they seem to leak from being blasted by tire spray all the time.
if you can make some kind of shield to block the spray they will last
i had mine for years with no problems, but i covered them
i just cut a thin piece of metal and found a place to bolt behind the light.
but now with an aftermarket bumper I'm on to something different.

silicone ?
take the lense off, if possible, silicone, silicone every nook and cranny and opening in the body, that's what I did with my light bar

I did some more research it appears water coming off of the tires drenches the back of the fog lights. I found a pic of a guard a guy made for the back side. I’ll post the link as soon as I can find it again.

Found it, will be making these before installing the lights.
