Selling my rust free 1997 3rd gen V6 baby. I bought this in 2017 on this forum from a seller in South Texas, it's original home was southern Arizona. It was mostly stock except for the lift kit and tires. It is a factory 5 speed, factory rear e-locker, factory sunroof SR5. I have upgraded everything I could think of, and I crawled and overlanded some of the hardest trails across the country. Current location is Northern Arizona.
It has served me well, it has not been utilized in almost two years, just sits in the garage starting it every week for a blast around the town, not getting the treatment it deserves so it's time to pass it on to a worthy home. Recently serviced gaskets etc, will list below.
It was showcased in the Chicago Auto Show in 2020. It has crawled up Smasher Jeep Trail locally here in Northern Arizona. It's a beautiful 4runner by stock standards and has every upgrade possible as well. Absolutely zero rust, quite the gem. It has been used on the trail and has a couple minor bumps and scratches on the rock runners and wheels and 1/4 steel bumpers. As a 4runner lover, I would hope the buyer would try to keep it this way... but it's a free market!

I think I listed everything. It purrs. Release the clutch with no extra gas pedal and it begins to crawl uphill, yet can do 80mph on the highway all day. It really is a gem and I will regret it once it's gone, but it is not being utilized like it should be. It's a head turner and gets lots of attention wherever it goes.
Recently had the valve cover gaskets and seals, spark plugs and seals, and sway bar links replaced. a $1,200 service (will attempt to upload photos or link or attach later... not working right now.)
Asking $12,000...
