Aftermarket cross bars for roof rack

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get new crossbars for my roof rack (I already have the rails). My current stock ones are getting old, loose and I don't trust them to hold my kayak anymore.

Question: what brand cross bars do you all recommend and know will work on a '97? I'd like them to be the round ones since that will fit much better with my kayak J-rack that I already have. I'm not wanting spot spend a ton of money, but I would like something good quality. Thanks!

If you can find a used yakima setup with control towers already installed that would be your best bet, 150$ to 200$ and it can hole as much weight as you want to put on em. I would stay away from a setup with railgrabbers or Q towers installed, the control towers alone are expensive and hard to come by used.
