Okay, I dont have one of these...yet. But this is my thought. If it lets less crap into the engine, wouldnt the crap be on/in the filter, making the engine alot harder to breathe over time?
so you mean, if there's dirt or dust on the filter, it would be hard to gain hp? you can buy a cleaner kit for your filter. i have an aftermarket filter but it still works with K&N filter cleaner. i think that's what you meant.
