Air-ride needles under rear bumper??

Found this on my new ride...
What the hell is it?

There is one on each side of my rear bumper near the tire well... I assume it is for air-ride (for towing)? How do you gauge the pressure? What is the appropriate pressure? Should I have air in it when driving around town? I bought my 4runner from a dealer and they had no idea what it is either...

Confirm you have air ride bags or something like it… confirm that those schrader valves are plumbed to those air bags.

I run air bag spring helpers on my 02 tundra for towing.. I plumbed the air valves into the gas filler area behind the door. The instructions reccomended 10psi at all times to keep the shape and prevent any pre-mature wear from normal driving..

Yep, except the bags for my 4R state to keep at 5 psi and I plumbed mine to the plug for trailer lights.

I didn't know 4Runners ever came with these, but all I've got is a 3rd gen.

They're definitely for air bags. But I have no idea what brand they are or PSI to run in them or what they can hold for towing. If I could figure it out, I'd probably use them for hauling my bike around.
