Airflow from open rear window / amateur experiment

I came across this video I did a few years ago on how air flows when you open the rear window. This was done on my ‘07 FJC but I think it still applies. Makes me want to re-route the exhaust pipe out the side vs back.

The side dump is the way to go for anyone who routinely drives with the rear window down. I am surprised they didn't do it from the factory like most of the tacomas..
