Why would you pay 20.00 for a piece of vaccuum-formed plastic that prob cost less than .10?

Because I tried to make one a year and a half ago.

I bought a vacuum form and several hundred dollars in plastic material. After several attempts of poor and good quality molds at best, I was left with one really good emblem cover for a homemade shop. Education costs money, time or both. This was an educational experience. I never perfected my system, AJT came out with a cover and beat me at my own game. So they earned my $20.00.

AJT designs emblem cover is rather robust and well formed. Excellent crisp lines and full emblem coverage suggests a precision laser cut process and a professional vaccu-mold.


Below you can see mine installed. Mine removed and side by side with AJT. AJT Installed (raw, no interior dressing).

I thought about that, but if I'm not having the shiny chrominess blasting in my eyes to begin with, I might not get in an accident and have my airbag go off in the first place.

I'm very happy with mine. I got a standard black one to make things nice and plain on the steering wheel, and I like it.

I've had mine for about a month now and I love it. I always hated the chrome look. The sun can catch that and blind you good. Thought about going for the blue to match but went with the black and have not looked back! I also have their key case and that is also fantastic!

Got mine installed, super easy. I cleaned the steering wheel with interior detailer before starting.

I then cleaned the chrome emblem with the provided alcohol swap and installed. I used a small blade flat head to remove the tape backings and it worked super well
