Making some changes on the 4Runner to bring it back to a more stock daily driving setup. So with that in mind I've listed a few things for sale. Lift and tires will probably be next along with other smaller accessories.

Big changes today. First new Hankook Dynapro ATM p metric tires in stock 265/70/17. Then a local member came over after work to transfer the GOBI and it's accessories over to his rig.

Kind of strange to look at now but really loved my MPG on the way home from work today. 20lb lighter per tire makes quite the difference.

Will have the old ST MAXX tires listed for sale tomorrow morning.

Thanks. At least it was. The 4Runner is now pretty much back to stock (removing the lift this weekend) and my wife is now driving it.

It is bitter sweet because on Tuesday I picked up this.

Congrats. Long time Subaru owner before the diversion to 4runner land. You'll enjoy that toy for sure. Check back in a few weeks with the speeding ticket update.

Well I thought I'd come back to say the 4Runner is now gone. I've really been enjoying the WRX (no speeding tickets yet, knock on wood) but the 4Runner was just not enjoyable for my wife to drive. It was too big and the gas mileage is still pretty awful even after removing the tires, rack etc.

We ended up trading it in last Saturday for a new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. They gave me such a good deal on the 4Runner we were only out of pocket a small amount so I decided to make the deal.

We looked at some new RAV4's but Toyota has almost priced them out of the market. Our Subaru is fully loaded with every option and to get the same on a RAV would have been 5-10K more.

I loved the 4Runner for the almost 4 years I had it, but it just didn't fit our needs anymore. The easier drive-ability of the Crosstrek and almost double the MPG has been very welcoming. Plus it's even got 9" of ground clearance if we ever do need to get off the pavement! lol

We also have a CrossTrek and absolutely love it. MY wife and daughters did a 3,000 mile College road trip over the summer and my wife who is very picky said she loved how the car drove and we really happy that we bought the car.

So at Sema we saw this and well maybe you should do this to yours.

Well I figure it's time to get a build thread together. I've got some writing to do and will get this post updated with all the latest info on the rig, but for now I wanted to share some of my latest pics with the new Konig Countersteer Type X wheels.
