Alignment after lift issues/question...

So a few weeks ago my buddy and I installed the 2.5" daystar lift kit on my 00 Limited (yes i know spacers are the best but i wanted to do something now that was inexpensive)

Anyway after the install i noticed I had some obvious positive camber (duh) so I took it in to a local tire/auto service center for an alignment. They gave the the alignment specs (which i have misplaced...) and i noticed they had to make significant adjustment to my caster, and now my front wheels appear to sit fairly far forward in the wheel wells. I assume as they compress they move at an angle towards the rear. Is this correct? I think it looks a little odd.

Wheels forward is caster. They will move rearward a little.
I think we need a picture to see what "front wheels appear to sit fairly far forward in the wheel wells" looks like.

You probably have zero or negative caster. There is really nothing you can do about it. As long as your camber and toe and within spec, and your cross-caster is within a few tenth's of zero, you will be fine. It will feel like a shopping cart, which I'm sure it does right now. The only way to correct this is to buy some aftermarket upper control arms. There are several out there that have adjustable caster or just an extra few degrees of caster built-in to compensate for the loss of adjustability. My preference is the Light Racing UCA's after reading for weeks about all the different ones out there. The best part is they can be had for under 400 bucks from here --->
