Alignment numbers?

Just got an alignment done and truck still doesn't drive straight. Just put bilstien 6112s and jba uca's on. Does drive better than before alignment but steering wheel is tilted to the left to drive straight and feels like there is more resistance when turning right. Concerned by my caster numbers left side is 2.8 and right is 3.7

the caster still need adjustment, atleast on the driver side. that's why you are experiencing the uneven turning.
numbers on the pass is good, but the driver needs more. think the tech got lazy and just want to put it in the green.

Took it back to the shop where I got it done they say everything is fine. And that you cant adjust caster on 4runners not sure if that is true or not?

i think the way to add caster is they have to move the camber bolts to make more caster. might want to try another place, a specialty 4x4 might do a better job, or a tuner shop.

These things seem to confound alignment shops.
The cam bolt adjusts caster and camber.
Took the local 'pro' here 45 minutes on mine...for a 'said' 30min job.
The number should at least be similar on each side.

Take it some where else.

You can absolutely adjust caster... they have no idea what they're talking about.

Firestone has always done a decent job with mine in about 45 minutes, but most competent auto shops should be able to do this no problem. I would never go back to that shop if I were you.

Should camber be slightly positive or negative?

Caster around positive 4?

And toe as close to 0 as possible?

I’m getting alignment tomorrow.

Generally camber will be slightly negative for better handling (top of tire "leans in" towards the car. But I've had camber at positive .3 before and it drove great.

Yes, caster is great around positive 4 if you have aftermarket UCAs and can make that work. It can be difficult to accomplish that with stock UCAs, anything above 3 will be good.

And that just leaves the toe to straighten it up and account for the caster/ camber adjustments. It's generally slightly positive but there's a lot of factors that can change that. Closer to 0 is generally better.

I just realized how much I used "generally". There's so much that changes this in between each vehicle (even between identical 4Runners) that it's hard to set a definitive baseline. A more competent shop than the one you were using should be able to handle this fine.

They absolutely CAN adjust caster. The alignment machine knows it too; if it wasn't adjustable the alignment machine would have grayed out the readings (like they probably are on your rear alignment toe/camber readings) when they entered the vehicle profile. I never assume malice when incompetence is a more likely explanation, but the tech is lazy or untrained. If the manager stands behind the "can't be adjusted," explanation... it calls into question their ethics and/or qualifications. Get a refund, or get it redone by a competent tech. They didn't finish the job.

Talked with the manager and he drove my truck and he's the one saying that it was fine and that you are unable to adjust castor. Offered to take a look at my steering column for that was the reason that it drove weird (worn bushings or something else). Really didn't offer me anything else outside of that and I was fairly confident that you could adjust castor based on reading things around here. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and take it to our local 4x4 shop to have them do it. Thanks for the input guys!

The theory of the numbers is very impressive and you can be right that all the sequences have many reasons and many people could also be interested in the meaning of the number on the alignment numbers. The numbers are a specific combinations that show your personal profile in the government system. If you want to go deeper in the topic of numbers I recommend to access that site Angel Number 123 Meaning - Taking Charge of Your Life | SunSigns.Org and find out more about specific meanings of the number
