Well, I found a replacement for my totalled 4runner for a super reasonable price, and it is not a Toyota. $7200
I found the deal on craigslist and could not pass on this one owner, mother-in-law driven, fully serviced, new Michelin tires, bilstein shocks, evap system, fuel pump, shifter stalk etc... $8k worth of receipts in the past 2 years.
2003 Chevy Avalanche 5.3 4x2 with 132,000 rust-free Nevada miles. And bonus, it is a weird orange color.
This has been a great group of strangers helping each other out. Glad to have been a part of it.
