Just got my notice. October 7 delivery

picked mine up yesterday at my shipping depot. how was everyones shipped? any boxing or wrap>

mine were bolted together with just the parts package taped to them and wrapped around a few times. bare steel on everything.

I got mine Rhino Lined and then installed them. Install went pretty smooth, just had to mess with the KDSS lines a bit (added thickness of the Rhino made squeezing them behind the lines a bit more trouble but worked out). Went with Rhino lining for the traction when used as a step by the family and to better rust proof them. In the event I actually use them for their intended purpose I figure I will just touch it up with underbody coating or spray bed liner.

got a notice on thursday that my sliders would be delivered on monday. came home saturday afternoon and they were on the porch.
look great. can hardly wait to get them installed. thanks for putting this together!

How much does something like that run on the sliders? How are they working out as steps? Looks great

Luckily it’s my buddies business so he just charged me material but I asked how much shop rate would be and he said $350. They have to be sanded down, welded logo removed, epoxy primed and then sprayed which wastes a lot of Rhino material because the gun shoots wide so all the overspray is wasted. Larger items actually turn out about the same cost cause he mainly prices around how much Rhino material is used.

As far as usage they are going great, the Rhino has given me great traction both wet and dry and I’m not going to have to worry about the sliders looking like rusted junk like my Gobi rack (pretty pissed about their crappy powder coat job). They come out far enough for me to use them as a step with the door closed to access stuff on the roof which was a major factor in which sliders I got. Overall I am very pleased with them.

Looks good. I like the way you think with the rhino lining. Two questions:
1. Same day service?

They say driver side 11.

I looked and it looks like only 3 in front and 6 in rear. What am I missing

The front has one behind the lines and it's not easy to get to. The lines don't want to move once I loose the two brackets. Did anyone loosen the pump itself?

FYI

Unable to get 11 bolts. Front driver only 3.

My my center kdss bracket did not line up well. I would have removed and dremeles but I finally got it in. I'd recommend anyone to dremel it first

Just installed my apex last night, I ended up leaving that bolt off on the driver side for now since its hidden behind the kdss lines and there was no way for me to get the bolt head through the lines
