I have the cargo tray and I have found it very useful as a Search & Rescue member - I have lots of heavy gear bags and have to access different gear caches depending on the mission. I pull the slider out, strap on the specified gear and go. the slider also makes it easy to load up at home before heading up the mountain and to remove gear when I get back home.
HOWEVER - I have the Toyota factory all weather cover and it never stays in place as I pull stuff in and out. I like that it keeps moisture off the upholstery, contains snow/slush, and it has lips so nothing spills over. then there's the wife who loves it as a baby changing table
Has anybody found an alternative cover that functions the same? or has anybody done a spray on lining on the tray??
