Amazon Contest Popup - Anyone else getting this?

I can’t hardly even reply here without starting over after the Amazon popup.

Can I make Google Chrone my default browser without jailbreaking my iPhone?

Friend, • YOU • do not need to jailbreak your iphone. You never need to do that unless you enjoy having your identity and family money stolen from you.

Don't want that to happen? I presume not so do not jailbreak your likely already infected phone.

What you should do ----> is go to the Apple physical store, call apple or your carrier.

Jailbreaking is a pretty serious event rife with risks and those who are able to do ot safely enough certainly don't have "why am I getting so many pop ups" threads started. Also, Amazon.com does not have pop ups nor do they sponsor them.

When the popup shows up press the back arrow and then click the close button on the ad. It has brought me back to the site every time. Still effing annoying. This also seems to only happen when you are using the desktop format on safari. Tapatalk is fine. Also is happening to me on tacomaworld, Jeep forums, etc. I haven’t had it happen on chrome on my phone. I might try to restore a previous version of IOS to see if there is a difference. There was an update last week and this started happening after that update.

i have been getting it too on this site as well as a boating forum I frequent.

I only get it on my iphone with safari and only get it when using cell data.

on the boating forum it went away briefly then came back. it has something to do with ads imbedded in the site.

This pop up is a scam trojan ad not an Amazon ad. I also get it on my iPhone and for some reason ad blocker misses it.

I was getting the amazon pop-up on every web page, even after resetting my phone, updating it, pop-up blocker on, clearing cookies and data, etc..

I read somewhere that 3rd party apps can have adware built into their coding. I went through and deleted the non essential crappy apps from non-reputable sources that I’d racked up over time, and I haven’t had a pop-up since. Thinking one of them may have been bugged.

Count me in on this issue. iPhone 6s on Safari. Sounds like I need to clear out some clutter and maybe switch to Chrome.
