**Thread resurrection*** haha. Just wanted to thank the Op for making this thread.
Thanks to this, I'm finally going to pull the trigger on ordering a "make-shift" 2/1 lift for my runner. My stock size tires only have about 11k miles on them now, but I'm going to install the following within the next month or so:
Front:
- Toytec Top1-T topout spacer (1/2" spacer = 1" lift)
- Bilstein 5100's that I will set at the .85" setting
Rear:
- I found a 1" Ebay rear spacer. Of course 1" = 1" in the rear, so I'll have my "make-shift" 2/1 lift with upgraded Billies to go with it.
I just cut and pasted the pics from this thread to an email to my wife (we're both at work currently of course), and she approved on the look and all, and even went on to say "it looks nice, it actually really does look nice".
I'll roll on my stock size (265-65-17) Maxxis Bravo H/T's at least until winter. If the tread looks less than 50% come winter time, I'll probably make the case for bigger tires at that point in time... Right now, I'm thinking 265-70-17 BFG Rugged Terrain A/T's when the time comes. My father in law just got these (265 70 17) on his F-150 (which is stock on the F150's) and they look sweet.
Thanks again for this thread with quality pics showing all measurements and everything. No one else seemed to have any 2/1 pics with stock tires. I think it will look good until I upgrade at least, even if thats another year or two (worst case scenario).
