another fiberglass 4runner ...

Slacker - You have some serious talent. The gapping on those panels are perfect...a VERY difficult thing to do...especially with fiberglass. NICE WORK! Do you ever do classic car restorations or modifications?

That is Fantastic!

How much weight savings did you reap out of that?

Thanks ..

weight savings is not that much .. I never weigh'd it , but I would bet money it weighs the same .

the panels are built for strength and longevity , not weight savings .. so they actually weigh about the same .

.

...................speechless......

I could of used your help when I had my 1979 Bronco 351W. it was all rusted out, but motor and chassis were still strong.

Great job....dont forget to post pix on your next project.

I tried to reply yesterday, but I guess my post didn't make it. Slacker, I went and checked out your other links. You do great work. When I got into Toyota trucks and 4runners, I was mostly fond of the 2nd gen trucks and 1st gen 4runners, but the 1st gen truck styling has grown on me to the poin that I want one now.

Anyway, I noticed that you are from Penticton. I will be one of those few thousand people up there next August for Ironman Canada. If you see my gold 4runner or a red Tacoma from TX, give me a shout out. If I see any clean old school yotas, I will give them a wave and assume its you or your work.
