Another floor liner question

I have the Husky floor liners with the holes for the retention clips on the drivers side. The issue is that some water always seems to seep through these holes to the carpet. I have a '19 that has the factory retention clips on the carpets and install the liners as instructed with the clips through the holes and twisted closed.

Has anybody had any success making some plugs or covers for these holes? Is there a product out there that anyone has used? I'm sure that the dampness is from these holes because it's always localized directly beneath them and nowhere else.

Thanks for telling me about a problem I didn't know I had. Going to look for a plug now. I guess, if something perfect can't be found, could use some of this...
