Thought since I've been doing so much work on Toyota 4runners lately, I should join a forum. New to forums, I figure it'll beat "googling" everything.
A bit about me.. Married mom of two. My "gift" to my eldest daughter is what got me here. I owned a Toyota 4x4 as a kid and thought it would be the perfect first vehicle for my daughter. Picked up a used one 4x4 5speed 1991 and then found one free 1992 v6 auto she liked the freebie better. Loaded sunroof yadayada. So.. I'm in the process of fixing/rebuilding both trucks. The standard is blue the auto white. (As that's how I'll probably refer to them mostly.) The blue one has taken back burner for now. It did make it into the garage after replacing the white ones transmission, torque converter and starter. Managed to replace the front bumper, light assemblies and hood lock before my daughter broke the white one. So now the white ones back in and she somehow managed to sever the fan pulley and all the belts are (obviously) loose. Just in the process now of removing the rad to be able to get a better look at it. Any how that's me and what I'm doing. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for anyone who has experience working on these things as I'm just a backyard grease monkey mommy here.
