Another "noise" question (Drivetrain)

I thought I was getting some sort of tire noise (have had tire issues for a long time) from the right front of my V8-4WD 2004. I changed the tire with the full size spare but the noise didn't go away.

Facts:
1. The noise is more like the sound that comes from deep-tread off road tires on pavement - not the high-pitch whine of a failed wheel bearing.

2. The noise only occurs when the truck is moving - the noise increases as speed increases, decreases when I slow down.

3. The noise occurs when I'm moving straight ahead or turning to the left. The noise stops completely when I turn to the right - my guess is that the problem is on the right side and is lessened when the vehicle weight is transferred to the left side (as is the case when turning right).

4. A slight vibration in the steering wheel (and slight rattle in the cheapo plastic dashboard parts) happens when I get over 35 mph or so - doesn't seem to get any worse as I increase speed although I only have had it up to 50 mph since that symptom appeared.

5. I have had all fluids changed regularly - tranny, front and rear differentials and so on...

Any thoughts before I go to the dealership to have more of my limited resources transferred to them?
