Another stupid tire answer:D

I don't know about the D Cepek and can't recall reading much. I don't have first hand knowledge but some folks here and many at other forums like the BFG M/T and there's good buzz on the Cooper too. Search ProMed in username search box, he has the Coopers. IIRC the Goodyear M/T works well too but I think it's loud.

I think in part people are tired of tire questions, especially when a lot of info can be found using the SEARCH function.

Also, many people don't even bother reading a post written with poor spelling, poor grammar, no use of capitals or punctuation, etc.

One big run-on sentence is a pain to read, and if the poster can't take the time to construct a proper question, he shouldn't expect a proper answer.

Im sorry about the poor grammar and poor spelling. I

was in a rush to get to my school for job placement. I

have in fact tried to search for d ick Cepek. But the

server here edits the word **** it made it kind of

difficult to find any information on the particular tire

that I'm looking for.

The DC Fun Country tires are based on the old Armstrong Norseman tires. They bought the rights to the tires when Armstrong went out of business.

The tread pattern is a great on/offroad design. I ran the Norseman on my Toy p/u and the Miracle Extra Traction (bias version) on my old CJ5. The wear was good for the aggressiveness of the tread pattern.

Wear is going to depend, in part, on the rubber compound used, and I don't know anything about what the current manufacturer of the DC brand tires uses.
