I'd vote Duratrac's over anything else you're considering! The Toyo's are a great tire for a tow rig, wheeling rig not so much. Yokohama's are nice, but I'm really skeptical about 60k a friend of mine's got them on his rig and they're awfully soft. I really like the KM/2's with the center lugs siped, no issues on road the truck will flop before they lose grip and they're ok in the snow. The Hankooks are amazing in the snow and and all around good tire, but not as good offroad. I just had a set of Duratrac's that I was going to use on my truck, but instead sold and am kind of regretting it! I really hate the 255's for a wheeling rig and wish that the tires were wider for more stability. If you're only going to be wheeling occasionally I'd hands down recommend the Duratracs or Hankook ATM's over the other tires you're looking at. Also, don't buy at Schwabs! Discount Tire FTW!!
yeah i went to discount first, but got turned off by the guy behind the counter when i said "i heard the bfg's kind of suck in the rain" to which he replied "yeah but most people use the bfg as a DD tire" i'm thinking, here in washington isn't rain driving and DD driving the same thing?

after all of their no hassle b.s. to end it like that is a joke, am i wrong or does it sound like they will sell you a warranty on some tires good for the life of the tire but if you mount it on a wheel it's no longer covered, the wording on that whole thing is kind of tricky, i know what they could mean but it could also be interrupted the other way as well.
i have gone to discount tire for most my life, but from the amount of time and how i was handled today when talking about dropping 1K on tires i wasn't very impressed, they took about 45 minutes with me just to give me a quote at lezbo's, and yeah i know i'm one of those annoying know it all customers , but i still had some pertinent questions about wear-age and what they have seen coming through their shop.
that said, i really only care about who can sell me the best tires for the cheapest and has the best warranty options.
